Join the City of Alexandria and NVCT and help clean up Four Mile Run Park. The park–and all of Northern Virginia–is part of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. This event is one of many Clean the Bay Day events held throughout the watershed, and altogether the impact is huge. Since 1989, Clean the Bay day has engaged more than 146,000 volunteers who have removed approximately 6.4 million pounds of debris from nearly 6,900 miles of shoreline in Virginia. That has a big impact on the bay and all the rivers and streams that feed into it!
