Senior Land Conservation Specialist
Andrea is the team lead for NVCT’s land conservation staff, and the lead for conservation projects in Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun counties. She previously worked with the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, conducting fieldwork in the Piedmont and the Shenandoah Valley. Andrea’s experience also includes grantwriting, battlefield preservation throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, and farmland preservation in Connecticut. She holds two Master’s degrees in public policy and environmental management from Duke University, and a Bachelor’s degree in politics from Pomona College. She was raised in Idaho, and she lives in Arlington with her husband and their son.
