Land Stewardship Specialist
Daniel previously worked with the national Sierra Club in Washington, D.C., doing advocacy work, and most recently with the Frederick County Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources as part of the Chesapeake Conservation Corps. In his work with the Corps program through the Chesapeake Bay Trust, he managed volunteers and led all aspects of tree planting projects. He also compiled data about Frederick County Government’s greenhouse gas emissions coming from internal operations, and calculated reductions in emissions coming from restoration projects. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Delaware. Daniel is originally from Baltimore and now lives in Fairfax County.
