Mariel Murray

Mariel grew up abroad as the daughter of American and Norwegian diplomats. After graduating from law school in 2012, she moved to DC, where she worked on natural resources and tribal law issues for the U.S. Forest Service and the White House during the Obama Administration. She currently oversees the U.S. Forest Service’s policy, law, regulations, and budget at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She joined the Board in 2017, and looks forward to being part of local conservation work.
