Peggy came to NVCT in 2013 after five years with the Westport Land Conservation Trust in Massachusetts. She had previously spent decades as an executive in managed healthcare sector. She has served as an officer in the Massachusetts Land Conservation Coalition and now serves as Chair of Virginia United Land Trusts. Peggy has served as Board Chair for three different Girl Scout Councils, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the World Foundation of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and a Master’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. She will complete her Certificate in Field Botany (New England Wild Flower Society) in July 2017, and plans to continue hiking the world to find the best wild flowers. She lives in Fredericksburg, VA.
