Fauquier County

In the northern Piedmont, the Trust accepted its first conservation easement in Fauquier County at the end of 2014, permanently protecting a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register.

 

NVCT is involved with the Blue Ridge Conservation Alliance, a collaborative effort to build appreciation and protection of the Blue Ridge Mountains between Shenandoah National Park and Harpers Ferry. Meanwhile, we continue to assist our communities in permanently protecting important working lands, natural areas, and historically important sites, and we welcome additional opportunities to engage with the public.
