NVCT'S NEARBY NATURE PHOTO CONTEST
Nature's tranquility intensifies as spring blooms throughout Northern Virginia, and we want to celebrate this beauty with you in our annual spring photo contest! From April 1, 2022 - to May 1, 2022, we welcome submissions from anyone with a camera, including Northern Virginia's youth. Read the categories and use our guidelines below if you wish to participate and submit your photos,
2022 PHOTO CONTEST CATEGORIES
Prizes awarded for first place in these categories:

People in the outdoors - These photos should be of people out and enjoying nature.

Spring renewal - newborns and family! - Spring renewal is finding animals in early stages of life.

Streams, Creeks, and Water- This category maybe the most obvious. Water creates and sustains life, and we would like for you to capture its beauty.

Smartphone Snaps- Any beautiful nature photo that you capture with your smart phone should be submitted to this category.
Please Note
Submitted photos must be taken within our service area. This includes: Arlington, Caroline, Fairfax, Fauquier, King George, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania, and Stafford counties; as well as nearby independent cities including Alexandria, City of Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas, and Manassas Park.
How to Enter
1) Choose or take some awesome nature photos!
2) Download and complete the entry form and photograph release linked below
3) Email the forms and your photos to nvctphotocontest@gmail.com by midnight, May 1, 2022.
*Please put your name, the category, and the title of your photo(s) somewhere in the email
4) Look out for our announcement of the winners in late July or early August! Staff will review the submissions for creativity, content, composition, and originality, and award the top photographs.
